Improved generalized S-transform deconvolution for non-stationary seismic data

چکیده

Improving the vertical resolution is one of significant tasks for seismic data processing. Most traditional resolution-enhancement techniques assume that wavelet time-invariant. However, varies with wave propagation in subsurface. To solve this issue, a new spectral-modeling method proposed to extract time-varying using improved generalized S-transform (IGST) and higher-order Fourier series. The IGST based on modified time-window function can effectively improve time-frequency (t-f) spectrum. high-order series used fit logarithm t-f spectrum achieve high-precision wavelet. composed four steps implementation. Firstly, decomposed by converted domain. Secondly, modeled at each time sample Thirdly, boxcar smoothing smooth Hilbert transform. Finally, spectrally balance flatten response. Synthetic field examples demonstrate feasibility improving signal-to-noise ratio enhancing resolution.

Analysis of non-stationary electric signals using the S-transform

Purpose – The purpose of this paper is to compare the accuracy of tracking the amplitude and frequency changes of non-stationary electric signals. Design/methodology/approach – Short-time fourier transform (STFT) and S-transform algorithms were applied to analyze non-stationary signals originating from switching of capacitor banks in a power system. Findings – The S-transform showed possibiliti...

Generalized S transform

The generalized S transform (GST), a family of reversible integer-to-integer transforms inspired by the S transform, is proposed. This family of transforms is then studied in detail by considering topics such as GST parameter calculation, the effects of using different rounding operators in the GST, and the relationship between the GST and the lifting scheme. Some examples of specific transform...

A reversible transform for seismic data processing

We use the nonstationary equivalent of the Fourier shift theorem to derive a general one-dimensional integral transform for the application and removal of certain seismic data processing steps. This transform comes from the observation that many seismic data processing steps can be viewed as nonstationary shifts. The continuous form of the transform is exactly reversible, and the discrete form ...

Synchrosqueezing-based Transform and its Application in Seismic Data Analysis

Seismic waves are non-stationary due to its propagation through the earth. Time-frequency transforms are suitable tools for analyzing non-stationary seismic signals. Spectral decomposition can reveal the non-stationary characteristics which cannot be easily observed in the time or frequency representation alone. Various types of spectral decomposition methods have been introduced by some resear...
